How to Locate Microsoft Teams Recordings
For Channel Meetings (Stored in SharePoint)

Open Microsoft Teams: Launch the Teams app on your desktop.

Navigate to Your Team and Channel: Find the team and channel where the meeting took place.

Go to the Files Tab: Click on the "Files" tab at the top of the channel.

Select the Recordings Folder: Look for the "Recordings" folder and open it.
For Non-Channel Meetings (Stored in OneDrive)

Open Microsoft Teams: Launch the Teams app on your desktop.

Go to the Files Tab: Click on the "Files" tab on the left-hand side.

Select OneDrive: Click on "OneDrive" in the left-hand menu.

Find the Recordings Folder: Look for the "Recordings" folder and open it.
Extending the Expiration Date of a Recording
The default expiration date for MG2's Microsoft Teams recording is 120 days after they are recorded.
- Open OneDrive or SharePoint: If the recording is in OneDrive, go to OneDrive. If it's in SharePoint, navigate to the SharePoint site associated with your team.
- Find the Recording: In OneDrive, go to the "Recordings" folder. In SharePoint, navigate to the "Documents" library and then to the "Recordings" folder.
- Select the Recording: Click on the recording you want to extend the expiration date for.
- Open the Details Pane: Click on the "i" (information) icon to open the details pane on the right side of the screen.
- Extend the Expiration Date: In the details pane, find the "Expiration date" field. Click on the date to open a calendar and select a new expiration date.
- Save Changes: After selecting the new expiration date, make sure to save your changes.
